Super Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode or Super AMOLED is a display technology for use in mobile devices such as mobile phones. the first company known to produce display units of this type is Samsung, when it introduced its Samsung Wave mobile phone in the 14th of February 2010.

This type of display is said to reflect less light and offer better contrast and brightness than normal AMOLED Displays, or even other mobile display types such as TFT.
