Samsung announces Galaxy Player for music and games

Samsung hast announced, the they would demo the Samsung Galaxy Player next week at the CES 2011. As the name of the device suggests, the Galaxy player is inspired by the successful Samsung Galaxy S. Actually it is the Galaxy S without the phone functionality. The Galaxy Player runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS and is powered by a 1GHz CPU with 4-inch Super Clear LCD screen. The devices hast also a front facing camera for video calling. Users of the device have access to all Android and Samsung apps.

Samsung Galaxy Player is thought for games and music consumptions and would be solid alternative to iPod touch also to Nintendo DS.
