No SkyFire Browser For Symbian Anymore

Another setback for Nokia’s Symbian Operating System. SkyFire, the popular and cross platform browser would drop Symbian. The company announced today that, the next version of software would not be available for Symbian.

This may not be a bad news for the owner of symbian-based phones, but it is a very band news for Nokia. Nokia has stressed several times, that apps are important for the success of a platform and is doing everything to gain developers. This news shows, that Nokia’s efforts has not very successful.

Well there is at least one good news, SkyFire would be available for MeeGo OS, but where are the meego-based devices?
