New HTC Desire with big touchscreen

The former Windows Mobile only supporter HTC has changed its opinion since the release of the Google Android OS that has many fans all around the world today. Also the new smartphone of HTC will be an Android one which is called HTC Desire.

Google Android OS 2.1 will be pre-installed on the HTC Desire, that comes with a very big touchscreen display which is unbelievable 3,7 inch big and uses the new AMOLED technology to save energy of the battery. The screen resolution of this big display is 480×800 pixel what is big enough even to read some documents on the HTC Desire smartphone.

To type the HTC Desire only uses the touchscreen and there is no extendable QWERTY keyboard to chat, blog and write. But there is a very fast central processing unit working in the HTC Desire, the Snapdragon of manufactor Qualcomm, that comes with a clock speed of one gigahertz.

Other features of the HTC Desire are a 5 megapixel camera, a wireless LAN modul, Bluetooth support and the HTC Sense usability. The price of the HTC Desire is still unknown, but there should be some more information soon so that it is possible to tell what the price of the HTC smartphone is about.
