It has a large 4.3 high resolution display, a 1GHz TI OMAP CPU, 512MB of RAM, and it comes with a ton of storage space. It also can do HDMI out, making it the second smartphone that can be connected to a projector or flat panel television. It's running on Android 2.1, but will be upgraded to 2.2 Froyo later this year. It will be distributed by Verizon Wireless in the US. The brand name Droid is a trademark of Lucasfilm licensed to Verizon Wireless.
