Two Optimus devices were sent to Sprint and T-Mobile, but for some odd reason, Verizon got the LG Vortex. As you can see in our full reviews of the Optimus S and Optimus T, both phones performed very well, considering their feature sets and price points, but we feel that the LG Vortex has a bit of an edge over its cousins when it came to its interface and Camera options. With Android 2.2, access to the Android Market, a full virtual QWERTY keyboard with SWYPE technology, and an accelerometer for gaming, the LG Vortex is one of the best options out there for the smartphone virgin. This phone has a lot of similar traits with the LG Optimus. I can't say anything bad about the phone but, if I had a complaint it would be touchscreen. I wish it was glass instead of a higher grade plastic. All in all, this is a great phone for people that are just starting off getting a smartphone.
