It's a nice little device, but the design closely resembles a messaging phone. Otherwise, it offers a 1 GHz processor, 3.5-inch display, and a 5.0-megapixel camera. There are a few minor quirks that bugged me, like LG's decision to place the shift and function keys outside of the physical QWERTY, but it makes up for it in the battery life department. I tested the device in the Charlotte area, and call quality was very good. When working with it in a dead zone, I was able to maintain the call, despite some choppiness. I am very fond of this deivce because it has Xbox Live Games which gives you the best gaming experience possible! (Requires a seperate subscription) Since the phone runs Windows Phone 7 it's capable of Powerpoint, Word, Excel and OneNote. The QWERTY keyboard makes it nice to text and send e-mails out to your friends. One downside of this phone is setting up the e-mail. I tried numerous times and I finally got it. The Windows Marketplace is very smooth and has a variety of choices. Overall, I would have to give the LG Quantum a 10/10 because of the main features it has.
