HTC FreestyleVideosHTC Freestyle ReviewPhoneArena reviews the HTC Freestyle. For those of you who may like the look of a smartphone, and want something cool like a touchscreen, but don't really need a smartphone, there's a new option...the HTC Freestyle from AT&T. The Freestyle is the carrier's first device to use Qualcomm's new BREW MP platform... For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com HTC Freestyle Review Sydney reviews the HTC Freestyle, a unique featurephone that almost looks like a smartphone. It uses HTC's Sense UI which brings a lot of cool features like the popular weather and clock widget, Friendstream, and a notification system similar to what you would see on an Android smartphone. The camera performance was disappointing, but the virtual keyboard is probably one of the best on a featurephone, and battery life wasn't that bad either. After testing it out and putting it through its paces, this is definitely the best featurephone from AT&T's current line-up. Because it uses HTC Sense UI, it looks very similar to HTC's smartphones, but it's a featurephone. Whether this means that you get all the coolness of a smartphone without the price or that you finally have a cheap phone that you're not ashamed of, either way, it's a win-win. Aside from running Sense UI and being packed with all of its cool widgets, the Freestyle also has a 3 MP camera and a capacitive touchscreen, a pretty good one at that. After initial tests with the Freestyle's touchscreen and virtual keyboard, it's easy to say that it's one of the best on the featurephone market. The Freestyle is $99 on-contract from AT&T, which may be a little too expensive for some, but it's definitely worth looking into. The Freestyle and Smart uses HTC's Brew MP platform which is intended to provide those that aren't quite ready for a smartphone with a device that acts like a smartphone. Seem strange? It is, though perhaps there is a market for this kind of device. In this video we take a look at the Freestyle and find that the operating system is pretty similar to Android in a lot of respects. Despite it only having a 528MB CPU and 256MB of RAM, the device felt fast. As a reminder that the Freestyle is not a smartphone, HTC has left out the WiFi. That said, you'll be able to pick up this sort-of-smart-but-dumb phone for $50. HTC Freestyle This is a video tour of the HTC Freestyle for AT&T. It runs Qualcomm's BREW MP with HTC's Sense UI on top. HTC Freestyle Review Twitter: twitter.com Facebook www.facebook.com HTC Freestyle is a non smartphone smartphone from HTC. Yes I just said that. what it is, is an entry level smartphone from HTC that packs a lot of the user experience HTC has applied onto Android with the sense UI on to this device. It run on HTC's own OS platform called Brew MP, has a 3.2 HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 3.2MP Camera, 512MB internal storage and 256 MB of ram, Bluetooth no WiFi. Also has an sdcard slot but does not come with an sdcard. Conclusion HTC created a great entry level device with the Freestyle, its styling and features are comparable to that of a standard smartphone in today's market. Though it lacks certain key features like WiFi and countless of Apps in its App store, the free style still manages to integrate the smartphone experience into an everyday phone, with a battery life to boot and with a price point @ $0 with contract from AT&T it does drive a bargain HTC Freestyle Unboxing and Review Hands on in HD This is a quick unboxing and review for the new HTC Freestyle from AT&T. This phone isn't powered by Android, but a different UI called the "Sense Experience" which runs on Qualcomm's Brew MP platform. HTC Freestyle Unboxing HTC was kind enough to send me a review unit of the HTC Freestyle which is one of their first non-smart smart phones. I really hope you guys enjoy this video. HTC Freestyle Review A simple feature phone that packs quite a few things in for it's small size. Freestyle vs Laser Dogfight The HTC Freestyle and the Pantech Laser are the two best featurephones from AT&T. The Freestyle features HTC's Sense UI, making it look a lot like a smartphone, and the Laser is super-thin but still manages to pack a full physical keyboard and it has an AMOLED display. Both phones are great, but which one is better? For quite some time the Laser reigned as number on PhoneDog's Top Messaging Phones list for AT&T. Now that the Freestyle is in town, it has dethroned the Laser and taken the top spot. Now, for the first time, we're putting both of these phones head to head, comparing them feature for feature so that you can see which one is best for you personally.
