HTC Flyer
HTC seems too be wokring very hard to launch its tablet product line ahead the planned launch of RIM’s PlayBook in March and Motorola’s Xoom in April. HTC is planning to launch three tablet PCs this year and the first of them would be the HTC Flyer and it could possibly be announced at the Mobile Word Congress next month. HTC Flyer is just a larger version of HTC Desire thats why it would be released sooner than tablets.
HTC will not wait until the release of Android Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and launch the Flyer with Android 2.3 and would update it, when Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) is officially released. Other countries would get the HTC Flyer in the second quarter of the year.
HTC Flyer would look like this, only a little larger

HTC Flyer Tablet Review A video review of the HTC Flyer 7" Android tablet with WiFi. Check out our full review at: www.mobiletechreview.com The Flyer sells for $299 at Best Buy (price drop) and it runs Android OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense software. HTC went with Gingerbread instead of the tablet-centric Honeycomb so they could heavily customize the tablet with HTC Sense widgets, apps and social networking integration. They also added support for an active digitizer pen in addition to capacitive multi-touch, for you note-takers and artists. The pen is sold separately for a steep $79.99.

HTC Flyer Review PhoneArena reviews the HTC Flyer. Strangely, some might be scratching their heads wondering as to why in the world HTC decided to launch their very first tablet, the HTC Flyer, knowing that it's going to be flaunting Gingerbread as opposed to the tablet-optimized experience of Honeycomb? But let's find out if the HTC Flyer can grow a pair of wings and fly above some of its Honeycomb inspired brethren... For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com

HTC Flyer Hands-On HTC Flyer Hands-On by Aaron Aaron gets a demonstration of the HTC Flyer, the company's first tablet and yet another Android-powered device. It offers a 1.5 GHz processor, 7-inch display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with a tablet-specific version of HTC's Sense UI. A new feature is HTC Scribe, which allows the user to write on the display with the included stylus. The unibody construction is quite nice, but it'll be a tough sell against other devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and LG Optimus Pad. It's slated to launch in the second quarter of 2011. Device Review: HTC Flyer RCR Wireless News takes a closer look at the latest HTC tablet with stylus. At .5 inches "thin", using the stylus takes some getting used to, but offers great tool for taking notes. Flyer is slightly lighter than an ipad, but is not LTE enabled.

HTC Flyer running Android 3.2 Honeycomb video review TAIWANESE GADGET MAKER HTC has updated the Flyer tablet to Android 3.2 Honeycomb so we take a look at what's changed. The device has been bumped up from Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the tablet specific edition. This means the hardware buttons are no longer in use, apart from the dedicated stylus button. Naturally the user interface looks different and the stylus functionality has been enhanced, so HTC must have read our review of the Flyer. There's no word on an upgrade to version Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but our fingers are crossed. µ Source: The Inquirer (s.tt

T-Mobile HTC Flyer Hardware Comparison Tour In this video we'll be comparing the hardware on the T-Mobile HTC Flyer to a couple of popular tablets currently on the market. The 7" size and form factor has been a joy to use vs the 10" displays of say the iPad 2 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Still noticeably missing in the HTC Flyer is the lack of a Honeycomb update which would make the pen more useful. While not a problem specific to the HTC Flyer, the gap between apps available between iOS and Android systems is still quite apparent. iOS developers have still set the standard in regards to usability, capability, and functionality. Not to say Android isn't making in-roads, but the tablets today still feel very much like the original iPad - perfectly functional in the base configuration, with a lot of growth still to come. With the upcoming release of multiple Android tablets, the holiday season may bring even more to the table, thus closing the distance between these top two mobile operating systems. Personally, I would happily recommend this device, namely because of the form factor and configuration, even with it's only single core processor. If the price comes down in the coming months, then even more so. The 32GB HTC Flyer is available from T-Mobile for $399 with a two year contract from B2B sales.

T-Mobile HTC Flyer Software Tour In this video we'll be taking a closer look at the software on the T-Mobile HTC Flyer. The HTC Flyer is well known in the market today (having been originally released in May), T-Mobile has recently released their version of the tablet to the world at large. Running Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4) with HTC Sense 1.0 for Tablets, the device is very snappy, suffering from only a few Sense crashes here and there. Hopefully an upgrade to Honeycomb, or more likely, Ice Cream Sandwich will allow for additional pen functionality (which is currently very limited).
