HTC to launch HTC Flyer Tablet, a larger version of HTC Desire

HTC seems too be wokring very hard to launch its tablet product line ahead the planned launch of RIM’s PlayBook in March and Motorola’s Xoom in April. HTC is planning to launch three tablet PCs this year and the first of them would be the HTC Flyer and it could possibly be announced at the Mobile Word Congress next month. HTC Flyer is just a larger version of HTC Desire thats why it would be released sooner than tablets.

HTC will not wait until the release of Android Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and launch the Flyer with Android 2.3 and would update it, when Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) is officially released. Other countries would get the HTC Flyer in the second quarter of the year.
