After the fusion of the Maemo and the Moblin projects, the new project, named MeeGo, is seen with high expectations because the Linux operating system for mobile phones is a powerful and popular OS like it’s rivals iPhone OS or Google Android.
The Nokia N900 smartphone is the first device that will allow access to the MeeGo OS, even if the first versions of MeeGo will be very simple and down to the source code. That is the case because the MeeGo OS is still in the developing progress.
On purpose for the MeeGo OS Nokia will release a new smartphone that comes directly with support of the Linux operating system MeeGo. But not only Nokia wants to launch a smartphone with MeeGo OS, LG also wants to use the new operating system for mobile phones.
But MeeGo is not only usable on smartphone devices but can be also installed on many other platforms like netbooks. A special feature of MeeGo is the support of the UMTS replacement that is called LTE.
In summary the MeeGo OS has many good features on board that could convince the users to use the Linux distrubtion with their smartphone or netbook device.
This N900 case is a exclusive and one of the best looking case it is for the Nokia N900.
The flap tucks neatly into the base to form a pouch to hold the N900 without scratching
the screen on the device. The case come with a box and protective cloth for storage.
