The competition between Apple and Google gets harsh, because Google attacks the field of Apple’s smartphones with its own smartphones and the mobile OS Google Android.
Now it has gone so far that Apple blocked the app of Google Buzz, which is an app to use the service of Google Buzz that is kind of a Twitter rival. With the block of the official Buzz app Apple wants to curtail the influence of Google’s mobile applications.
But a new app of a third-party developer has done what Google was not able to: the app got into the AppStore and can be downloaded for a price of 1,59 Euro.
The Buzz app has the name Buzzie which is reclined to the successful Twitter app Tweetie. With Buzzie it is possible to update the Buzz status, see what the following people have buzzed before and what are the trending topics for a specific date.
Fortunately the Buzz app can be also used without being a member of the Google Buzz network, for example to look up the trends of Buzz and what members nearby have buzzed.
Whether the Buzzie app will be successful or not depends on how the people will use Google Buzz and the Buzzie app for the iPhone. But in general it is important for Google Buzz that the Buzzie app has been applied by Apple.
